Seeing what the garden knows.

Are you wasting time and money on garden fixes that don’t work? Still have nothing to show for it?

Garden Vision guides thoughtful homeowners like you toward a beautiful, sustainable garden, to stop guessing — for good.

There’s more at stake than a beautiful yard.

You care about Earth and feel your landscape is part of something larger. You want a garden that restores your spirit — and a guide that can help you see what your garden can become.

You’ve tried the weekend fixes, new approaches, the nursery impulse buys

yet your yard refuses to become the sustainable, soul-soothing refuge you want.

You’re a homeowner who cares deeply about nature, and want to transform your landscape into a beautiful, sustainable garden.

You want a clear path toward that peaceful refuge you crave.

And maybe, you’d love someone who can guide you with nature-friendly solutions.

• No more chemicals to keep weeds at bay.
• Plants that support pollinators and wildlife — and thrive.
• A thoughtful plan that puts every garden feature in the right place.

Oh, you’re in exactly the right place, friend.

That’s where I come in.

One Conversation Transforms Your Yard into a Refuge

I’m Kate, and I guide homeowners who care about Earth to transform frustrating yards into beautiful, sustainable refuges.

With more than 30 years designing landscapes and a portfolio spanning botanical gardens, home garden sanctuaries, and multi-acre landscapes, I’ve collaborated with more than 1,000 homeowners toward gardens that thrive with less work and more joy.

Through collaborative conversations and science-backed guidance, we uncover the ‘why’ behind your Garden Woes — and name what nature is asking for.

So, you can choose how to turn Garden Chore time into me time. In working with homeowners like you, I’ve found that true partnership — with you, and with nature — is what makes that larger purpose visible in a garden.

I partner with homeowners like you to design refuges that restore Earth — and restore your spirit.

Garden Vision Mission

Garden Vision sows seeds of stewardship — guiding homeowners to partner with nature and transform their yard into a beautiful, sustainable garden refuge.

We believe every thoughtful partnership with nature is a seed.

Enough of them, and your spirit is restored.
Tend them well, and stewardship takes root.
Enough of us, and communities restore Earth.

Connecting Homeowners to Nature

As an award-winning landscape designer and Certified Professional Horticulturist, Kate Easton is the go-to expert for homeowners who want a garden that works with nature — not against it.

Her credentials translate directly to your garden:

Landscape Architecture program: design as problem-solving: slope, water flow, how people use outdoor space, and the principles that make a garden feel inviting — not planted.
Divisional Honors in Landscape Architecture, awarded twice.
MS, Agriculture, Washington State University (graduate study: sustainable horticulture) — the science of how natural systems connect: ecosystems, climate, water cycles, and people — and why every garden is part of something larger.
Certified Professional Horticulturist (CPH): she knows her plants — identification, culture, and care — tested and certified by WSNLA.
ecoPRO certified: independently verified nature-friendly practice: the science behind the Garden for Life Roadmap, certified by WSNLA.
Certified in Rain Garden Design — capturing and redirecting water on-site through a layered drainage design: preventing erosion, runoff, and flooding while recharging the ground beneath your garden.

When Kate explains what your garden needs, she can back it up — with the science, the experience, and 30+ years collaborating with homeowners.

Psst… The credentials aside, what means the most –
the client who framed their design drawing and hung it on the wall.
That’s what doing it right looks like.

“Thank you so much for your help with the WSNLA display garden. Over the past year or so I’ve come to rely on you as a friend and whose opinion I can trust and whose advice I can always count on to be honest and important. Thanks for your important contributions. Couldn’t have done it without you!”

Green Patterns on the Wall

One of my earliest memories is lying in my first bedroom, watching shifting green patterns dance across the walls and ceiling while music played. Years later, when I described it to my mom, she told me the room had been painted a soft green, and the patterns were the rising sun filtering through the branches of the shrub outside my window—birds waking up right along with me. Maybe that’s why I’ve always loved birds, and why I still rise with the sun.
